Scroll 7 begins by challenging the way we look at the planet itself, showing that what many call “Earth” is more accurately understood as a water world, an aquarium, where the first stages of life began. From the waters came the development of cells, protoplasm, amoeba, protozoans, metazoans, amphibians, reptiles, dinosaurs, and the many forms of animal life that moved through creation according to divine order.
This scroll is important to one’s spiritual growth because it teaches that life is not random, empty, or meaningless. Every living thing has a purpose, a function, an intelligence, and a place within the balance of creation. Atum-Re includes this teaching in His Sacred Records so that we may understand that spiritual wisdom is not separate from nature, science, biology, or the living world around us.
